1. Color
Is burgundy the new black this season? Some fashion editors say it’s navy. I’m loving both of these dominant shades for fall. (p.s. No other color will ever ‘replace’ black, it’s our greatest basic). Look for rich shades of burgundy called Bordeaux, brandy and oxblood. Midnight is not the only blue this fall, brilliant cobalt and deep teal are fashion favorites as well. Black and any shade of blue are a hot mix and pairing a navy with black makes a stunning statement. Add orange spice, poppy red, windsor green and honey gold. It’s a beautiful palette to warm up in.
2. Fabric
From tops to leggings and dresses to pants, black leather (or faux leather if that is your preference) is a big fall favorite.
