A Healthy Glow

Ahhhh…no more nylons or tights; summer is the time to bring out your shorts, capris, knee length dresses and ACK white legs. I could never survive the season without my favorite self tanner. Tanners have come a long way, no more orange, alien looking shades. Applied correctly a natural looking glow appears within hours and did I mention much it is much healthier for you.
A method to your mission goes a long way:
- wash and exfoliate your legs to remove oils, creams and dead skin cells
- apply self tanner on your lower leg – not your foot
- rub in well ensuring you are covering the entire lower leg
- do not apply self tanner directly onto your foot
- with whatever lotion is left on your hands from the lower leg, rub evenly over the top, side and back of your foot, including ankles
- apply tanner to top of leg back and front and rub evenly over surface
- with whatever lotion is left on your hand rub over front and back of knee
- do the same with other leg
- be certain to wash your hands several times, including between the fingers and backs of hands
- I usually use my self tanner about a half hour before bed letting it set
and voila I wake up with a tan.
